ANTONY RICHARDS PROPERTY SERVICES, PENZANCE was established in 2001 and soon became one of the area's leading independent property managing agents.

We take tenant welfare seriously and so have been using D&N to ensure our properties are compliant before we hand over the keys.

We now manage well over 200 properties as well as many blocks of flats in St Ives, Penzance and surrounds.

In 2017 we relocated to our current prime location on Market Place in Penzance which was totally rewired by D&N.

Antony Richards Property Services has been using D&N ever since we began trading. This says a great deal in itself!

TRUST. We know that D&N will not overcharge and nor will they invent faults to be rectified. The service has been exemplary including the response to any emergencies. Add to that a hard work ethic combined with approachability and humour!

We have just spent three months watching the guys revamp our new offices, they were superb.

The Grade II* PORTHMEOR STUDIOS in ST IVES, Cornwall is probably the most iconic artists’ studios in the country. It is the oldest and has hosted some of the most illustrious artists working in Britain and the recent capital renovations won universal acclaim and several awards. Originally built in the early 1800s for the pilchard fishery, its cellars are still used by fishermen for storing and repairing their gear and for setting nets.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU USED DELVE & NANKERVIS?

We have used Delve and Nankervis at Porthmeor Studios for at least 15 years. Before renovation works started in 2010, they were responsible for maintaining an ageing electrical system and helping to keep it safe. They were the electrical subcontractor for the renovation project in 2010-2012, working with the architects and main contractor, Symons Construction, to overcome all the issues presented by a listed building.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH US?

There are three key reasons for our continuing relationship with D&N. Firstly they know the building inside out, which is especially important in a listed building where all the services are hidden. Secondly, they are local and are very quick to respond to any problems. However, most importantly is the very good relationship that has developed due to the quality of advice that we have received and the sense of pride in their work.

POLMANTER TOURING PARK is a FIVE STAR FAMILY CAMPING AND CARAVAN PARK set in stunning surroundings within walking distance of the picturesque historic fishing port of St Ives. At Polmanter, there are lots of leisure facilities to keep you occupied throughout the day. Our outdoor heated swimming pool and onsite shop is open from Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May until mid-September. We have two separate outdoor play areas for younger and older children and also have a new indoor soft play facility for under 10s. We also have an excellent Stable Bar and Restaurant that is open to non residents.

WEST CORNWALL GOLF CLUB is the oldest Club in the Duchy having been established in 1889 and is considered to be one of the best Links courses in the Southwest. Over the years the Club has been associated with some notable players including local lad "Long Jim" Barnes who was born in Lelant, and became Golf Professional at the Club and subsequently had an illustrious golfing career winning the inaugural PGA Championships in 1916 followed by the US Open in 1921 and the British Open in 1925. Other notable players from the Club include Phillip Rowe who represented Great Britain and Ireland playing against America for the Walker Cup in 1999.

West Cornwall offers superb Golf, welcomes golfers of all abilities and has active Ladies, Junior and Social sections. In addition to the opportunity of playing golf amidst stunning coastal scenery the Club offers a welcoming Bar and Restaurant.

THE OLD COASTGUARD in MOUSEHOLE and THE GURNARD'S HEAD near ZENNOR are the two Cornish outposts of the EATDRINKSLEEP group of small inns. Each inn has comfortable bedrooms and focuses on really good food together with top notch hospitality. They are multi-award winning and recognised as amongst the leaders in their sector of the tourism market.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU USED DELVE & NANKERVIS?
We’ve asked Delve & Nankervis to look after our lighting and electric requirements at The Gurnard’s Head since 2010 and at The Old Coastguard since we took it over in 2011. We can’t afford even to get the smallest details wrong for our guests and have complete confidence in D&N to deliver what we need. It was particularly important to have the right contractor at The Old Coastguard, as we needed to make a lot of improvements to the building when we took the keys.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING WITH US?
In every contractor we look to have a personal relationship with the senior people. In Liam Nankervis and Ian Rule we have exactly that relationship. They respond quickly to our requests, get immediately to the bottom of whatever question we put to them and ensure the solution is implemented as we want. We trust them to get things right and have never had reason to think otherwise.
